Your page does not have a Services tab so someone else reading it may get confused and not be able to fix it themselves if they have the same problem I did

It almost feels like your comment is a bot that is designed to address a different similar problem when it notices that specific phrase that you quoted.

Thanks to the Windows update there are no other relevant sources that I found that could fix my problem so I hope this post helps someone. It was definitely something out of my control. I want to be clear and say that this problem was not user made. I'm guessing it is because of the Windows update and it just recently added the Services tab so if that page gets updated to start showing updated photos then great! If my post is being considered to be removed then I disagree with that because my post may help someone. Your page does not have a Services tab so someone else reading it may get confused and not be able to fix it themselves if they have the same problem I did. Also, I just looked at your link and my specific solution to this problem is not on that page. I appreciate you commenting! I want to point out though that I did see the "Hide DS4 controllers" option in the settings and it was definitely off and I have never used that option. It's prone to fail (won't disable the controller but won't function corrently sometimes) and when it doesn't work the user can suffer from the "double input / double controller" issue.Ĭurrently, the recommended way for preventing the double controller issue is installing and then manually configuring the HidHide driver.įor more info: Preventing the double controller / double input issue in games

What you described on how to solve the issue is also present in the " Controller has been accidentally disabled" SECTION of the following page: DS4Windows not detecting controllersĪnd since I'm comenting about the "hide ds4 controllers" option, know that currently it's considered a legacy option. The old version has an issue where it can accidentaly disable the controller, like happened to you, when attempting to use the "Hide DS4 controllers" option. It would only say "No Controllers Connected (Max 4)"Īs you said, you were using an old version of DS4Windows (v1.4.something). But it doesn't hurt to check them just in case.

I tried checking for any Driver updates like every article on the Internet says to do but like always, the problem was not with any Drivers. Also Restart your computer after you are sure you got all the updates finished.

For both DS4Windows and Windows 10 (or 11). I recommend looking to see if that any more additional updates repeatedly till you are sure that there are no more. If I plugged my controller in directly then it still worked fine. This problem would make nothing show up on DS4Windows, as if I did not have a controller turned on at all. My computer updated and created a problem between the computer software and DS4Windows software by Bluetooth. Like I said above, downloading the latest version 3.0.18 did not fix the problem by itself but I did just test that version after figuring out my solution and it works too!Įxplaining my, now solved, problem simply one more time. When it comes to troubleshooting stuff like this I have no idea usually but I was happy that I was able to figure this out and hopefully this helps someone else.

Turn ON Drivers for keyboard, mice, etc (HID).Let it load the Bluetooth Services list for a moment.Right click on it and click on Properties.Find your Wireless Controller under the Devices section.Okay so, the solution that worked for me. The Bluetooth settings page would show that it is connected so I know that it wasn't anything wrong with any of my hardware. I did try downloading a new version after this started happening but that did not fix my problem. I'm still using an old version since I haven't needed to update it ever. It would only say "No Controllers Connected (Max 4)". So the controller light would come on but not change to the profile color that I had assigned to it and, of course, would not show up on DS4Windows. Afterwards my DS4 controller would only light up but not show on DS4Windows after turning it on wirelessly.

Apparently my computer is not good enough to run Windows 11 so I'm still on Windows 10. So I updated my computer to the newest version of Windows 10.
